Mission

The Latin American Students Organization of Simon (LASOS) exposes Simon students to business relations in Latin America and its role in the new global economy.  LASOS also educates the Simon community about the growing importance of the Hispanic market in the U.S., including its impact on current business practices and career opportunities.  Activities include panel discussions and guest speakers on current Latin American business issues and participation in national career events such as the NHSMBA Conference.

LASOS also sponsors social events on the Latino culture for all Simon students, regardless of nationality.  Finally, LASOS participates and encourages involvement in community activities in Rochester, especially with local Hispanic business organizations.
